This past summer, 2008, we had another successful Camp Leap. 175 children had a fun and enriching summer. Our staff included roughly 3 dozen of our teenagers, many of whom had their first job experience.

We are now well into our 2008-2009 school year. Some 170 children in grades K-8 are coming through our doors each day to get a nutritious snack or meal and help with their day's homework assignments. Our math and reading tutoring programs will be starting shortly. Our football season is underway with 7 teams, divided by weight and age, consisting of some 260 youth. As usual, the Beacon House Falcons are winning the vast majority of their games. Our Teen mentoring programs are also underway and this year, for the first time, we will have a tutoring program for our high school students.
